GENERATION SI!

WHY BOTHER TO STOP AND CHECK US OUT?

Because we’re more than just owners of Mexican restaurants…

Latino entrepreneurship is all around. And I’m not talking about your favorite local Mexican eatery. Generation Si! is about Latino business owners and leaders – in finance, in tech, in all kinds of entrepreneurial ventures you may not expect. Because, contrary to the persistent narratives out there, we come from many different countries. And we’re making money in all kinds of businesses.

WHAT WILL YOU GET OUT OF THIS NEWSLETTER?

Generation Si! is all about practical tips for starting or growing your business – at every stage.

Generation Si! shines a light on how Latinos of different backgrounds got their ideas and businesses off the ground. I’ll share their best tips for starting a business - whether you want to start your own business right out of school, mid-career - or even if you want to start over much later in life.

You’ll also find out about free webinars and other advice to grow your business in an easy-to-read format, delivered automatically to your email. I also periodically provide a Quick Bites List of practical advice from business owners I’ve profiled. It’s a quick read. Because, sometimes, I know that’s all you have time for in your busy day.

WHO IS THIS ABOUT?

Generation Si! is a community… your community… our community.

These stories are personal stories. Because it’s so much more than just about numbers. These are stories of struggle, success and pride in our community. I firmly believe that our purpose in life is to help others. When one of us succeeds in any field, it’s our responsibility to share the shortcuts and the helpful hints with our neighbors.

You’ll also get homegrown bits of wisdom from “La Casa”. Because if you grew up in a Latino family, you know “every” member of the family will share their advice with you, solicited and unsolicited. From “los papas” to your “abuelita” or “abuelito” to your siblings. It’s part of “nuestra cultura”, our culture, and our families.

WHEN CAN YOU EXPECT THE NEWSLETTER?

And What Else Is In Here?

Life is all about expectations, right? From jobs, to the stock market, to strangers we meet. You can expect to get your Generation Si! newsletter on a monthly basis. You can expect to read the best insights and advice from Latino business leaders. Plus, I’ll also provide a personal note in the “Inspiration For This Issue” section. I welcome your comments because we all learn from each other. And that definitely includes me.
